Ongoing TCF support from the FSA
The FSA is keen to work together with smaller firms to ensure the best outcome for consumers. It offers general ongoing TCF support in a number of ways –as outlined below. This support is over and above the dedicated roadshows that firms are invited to before (and sometimes after) TCF assessments.

FSA contact centre
Firms can call the FSA’s contact centre to talk through TCF issues (as well as other regulatory matters) about which they are unclear.

Bi-monthly surgeries
The FSA holds bi-monthly surgeries in regions around the country where firms can have one-to-one meetings with a supervisor for 45 minutes to run through progress on TCF and any other regulatory concerns they have. Firms are encouraged to decide what they wish to discuss in advance, so the supervisors are best prepared to answer questions on any regulatory matter.
